Travel Within Canaa
You are not permitte to travel outsie of the istrict, unless you are travelling or staying with an ault that has been authorize by the Homestay Manager.
A travel permission form must be complete, signe by your parents, an approve by the local Homestay Manager for:
· Any travel or activity without the host or the school (for example, ay trips, overnights, an/or travel with friens, or relatives)
· Any overnight activity with the host or school

Many International Stuents travel to their home country, or another country, to see their family uring school breaks such as the Christmas holiay. If you are going to travel outsie of the country, please notify the local Homestay Manager of your travel plans as early in avance as possible.

It is important that any such travel oes not require you to miss any school time. International stuents are generally not permitte to miss school ays ue to reasons relate to travel.
However, if you have to go home uring school time, you first have to get permission from the school. Please speak to the office at school, or contact the international program.

As mentione earlier, we recommen you bring about $250 in cash for the first few weeks.
It is very easy to set up a bank account in Canaa. However, we recommen you bring a bank/creit car from home. You can generally use creit cars everywhere an it is easy for your parents to a more money to the car.
What is covere by your Homestay Fees:
· Accommoation (your beroom)
· Three meals per ay
· Snacks
What is not covere by your Homestay Fees:
· Going out, e.g. movie tickets an going to cafes
· Bus/train tickets
· After-school activities
Also, your Homestay fees o not inclue costs of major family outings. If you choose to participate in family holiays an/or travel where there are extra costs, you shoul expect to pay.
