伦斯勒理工学院，中国教育部官方名称：仁斯利尔理工大学，英文名Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute，简称RPI，为全美顶尖理工大学，美国东部高等学府，位于美国纽约州首府奥尔巴尼附近的特洛伊（Troy），距离纽约267公里（166英里），离波士顿275公里（172英里）。该校由当时的美国首富，纽约州副总督斯蒂芬·万·伦斯勒先生于1824年创办，是美国，乃至英语系国家历史上第一所理工科大学，也是美国25所“新常春藤盟校”之一。伦斯勒理工被誉为美国理工科教育的基石，从这儿走出来的学生后来建立了包括麻省理工学院，耶鲁大学雪菲尔德科学学院，以及几乎后来美国所有的科学学术研究机构。而二战期间该校是美国军队的重要研究和教育机构，培养了大批人才。在2017年USNews美国大学排行榜上，伦斯勒理工学院排第39名。

伦斯勒理工不提供面试
All stanarize tests must be taken by December 31 (by November 30 for Physician-Scientist Program/accelerate meical program applicants).
· If you take multiple tests, Rensselaer will superscore the SAT, but will consier only the highest composite score on the ACT.
· Rensselaer oes not require the writing section of the SAT or the ACT, except for accelerate law/meical program applicants (see below).
· SAT Subject tests are not require, except for some accelerate program applicants (see below)

The TOEFL is require for all non-native English speakers, an Rensselaer expects a minimum TOEFL score of at least 88 iBT, or 570 PBT. Rensselaer requires that official scores be sent irectly from the testing agency; self-reporte scores will not be accepte.

An IELTS score of at least 7.0 or a PTE score of at least 59 is expecte. Only the acaemic format is accepte. Other exams, such as A-levels, IB, etc., may not be substitute for the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE.
Applicants who have complete three or more years of seconary eucation in the U.S. may request an exemption once they have submitte their application by completing the form foun on their application status page. Stuents MUST use this form to request an exemption; email requests will not be accepte.
