背景分析 学生优势：
一、985大学世界史专业，与申请方向一致。
二、本科在校期间拥有两段国外大学公费交换的经历，分别是美国乔治城大学卡塔尔分校和乌克兰国立基辅大学。
三、学生是蒙古族出生，除了熟练掌握蒙古语和汉语，又在本科学习时掌握了回鹘文、古典梵文、古汉语、俄语等语言。其中回鹘文、古典梵文、古汉语都达到了可以用以研究的水平。
四、学生是学校文体活动的骨干，担任过学校广播站的播音员，做过马拉松比赛的英文志愿者，是学校通讯社的记者，还曾带领自己的探险社团，花6天时间穿越50多公里平均海拔高于3000米的山区。活动经历十分丰富。
学生劣势：
一、各项硬性条件不具备竞争力：GPA：3.36/5.0，托福90+，GRE 297。
二、没有发表过论文。如果有的话，还没弥补一些上面成绩的不足。
文书思路 一、文书的种类比较多，有PS、SOP、PHS等，写的时候会根据学校具体的题目作出调整。
二、文书中主要突出的优势有几个大点：1.突出的语言能力；2.曾经参与研究的能力；3.公费交换的经历；4.对历史和研究的无比热爱；5.从小生活的跨文化跨语言的环境；6.优秀的自学能力。
三、有补充文书的学校，会对上传对GPA做解释的文书。
四、Writing sample基本上每个学校都要，学生提供的是同一篇，是对自己一次拓片的研究经历的详细描述。
五、不同的学校，择校原因上的变化比较大，某些经历的详略书写也会有所变动。例如，哈佛中会提到，有乔治城的教授给自己推荐了这个项目。又如，在哥大的文书中，会提到自己在藏学上以往的一些研究经历，以及今后的一些研究方向。
申请总结 一、学生在申请中提供了大量的素材，具体到每个学校，也会有一些自己的想法，沟通起来也比较顺畅。所以整体的合作很高效。
二、语言是学生很大的优势，除了上面提到的几种语言，学生还在申请的同时，自学日语。
三、学生的心态比较好，有多个拒信的情况下，也是一直在配合我们的工作，保持和学校的沟通，补充材料等等。
