背景分析

学生优势：相应经历丰富  专业较为冷门  成绩也不错

学生劣势：sat相对偏低

文书思路

学生的common主文书是讲挫折如何影响了他，他从挫折中学到了什么。挑选之后我决定采用他参加数学竞赛的素材来作为common主文书。学生第一年因为准备时间紧张加上对这个竞赛不熟悉而没有考好。第二年再接再厉，向自己的数学老师请教，又自学了不少东西。不过在第二次考试前他紧张得睡不着，最后是听自己手机里以前录下的自己激励自己的话，觉得这个准备的过程已经很令自己满意了，无论考成什么样都没有遗憾了，然后安心入睡的。最后学生取得了校内第二名的成绩，并明白失败不能定义自己，重整旗鼓再接再厉就可以成功。

学生的经历和素材很多，我根据不同学校的不同问题进行了相应调整。在coalition的uw文书里提到了学生亲人的离去，在uc的文书里提到了自己对历史和考古的钟爱。再比如有考古专业的学校我会在文书里着重提学生的相关经历，有问学生能给学校带来什么的题目我会写对历史和考古社团的建设等。并结合每个学校的情况来编辑文书。nyu的文书里提到了他初中去纽约，阴差阳错旁听了一节nyu的讨论课的有缘经历。

申请总结

总体而言，学生条件不错，gpa、托福和sat都属于中上，有着对历史学和考古学的热爱以及丰富的相关经历，再加上美高的申请背景让他的录取还是较为不错的。他的心思比较细腻，素材丰富，沟通过程也较为顺畅。不过学生的性格较为拖沓，加上时差以及他身体的原因，有时联系不上，所以也提醒我之后在节奏的把控上要更加注意，以及如果学生开始提供的素材不尽如人意，还需要文案更用心地去发掘合适的内容。此外，他有几所学校因为counselor的材料不齐而导致拒录，这方面还需要文案和顾问及时沟通，以免出现类似情况。
