一.转学common主文书
跟美国新生申请类似，美国大学转学申请大多也要求提交一篇common主文书﹙跟新生申请题目不同﹚。在网申系统更新以前学校要求的文书字数一致。
但在common系统更新以后，每个学校的文书字数要求会有些不同。比如纽约大学要求的就是最多3000个字符﹙近500个单词﹚, 而安娜堡要求最多1500个字符﹙近250个单词﹚。
common主文书的题目：

二.转学补充文书
相对新生而言，转学的文书显得更加常规化，不会出现太多特别新奇的文书题目。一般包括why school或者why major或者两者结合的补充文书。
但是少数学校也会有其它的文书题目，比如安娜堡转学也要求学生写iversity的文书。

加州大学转学和新生申请共同使用加州申请系统，也是四个文书题目。但是文书题目跟新生申请有些不同，构成为1+3﹙1个必写题目+7个题目中选择三个题目﹚
