香港理工大学，简称理大（英语：the hong kong polytechnic university，缩写：polyu），是一所坐落于香港九龙红磡湾的公立应用研究型大学。理大前身为香港官立高级工业学院，在 1937 年创立，并于1994年正名为香港理工大学，是八间大学教育资助委员会（教资会）资助的法定公立大学之一。
理大共有八个学院，包括工程、建设及环境、工商管理、医疗及社会科学、人文、应用科学及纺织、设计及酒店及旅游业管理学院，辖下有26个学系，40多个研究实验室、研究院及研究中心。大学自成立以来，一直配合香港不断演变的需要，无论学术课程、科研重点和校园发展各方面皆与时俱进。现时的理大约有25,800学生，人数是全港所有教资会资助大学中最多的，历届毕业生逾42万。
