想要去美国UCLA读导演，读电影本科的同学申请过程中，少不了作品集，那么UCLA电影本科学生的作品集要求是什么呢？
①学校不接受视频，DVD 或者 CD。
②Writing Sample 要求，Critical Essay 或者是 Creative Writing 。
如果选择 Critical Essay 的话，要求包括：
1.篇幅最多是三页。
2.内容是申请者对于电影某一个专业层面的分析，例如设计，构图，颜色，灯光，声音等等。并且这些内容应与社会观察或评论，道德，哲学或心理元素等相关。
如果选择 Creative Writing 的话，要求包括：
1.篇幅最多是 5 页。
- 写作的内容形式可以是短篇小 说，电影处理，故事板，剧本或剧本摘录（包括完整脚本的简短摘要）等的一种或多种。此外，还需要提供 Personal Essay 和 Life Challenge Essay。
Critical Essay (3 page max).
§ The critical essay is your analysis of a film or television program. This essay is NOT a review. You shoul assume the reaer has seen the work you are iscussing; o not inclue a plot summary. This essay is similar to what you woul write in an English literature or film history course. It is your analysis of any aspect(s) of the work you have selecte: the use of esign, composition, color, lighting, soun, etc.as it relates to social observation or commentary, moral or philosophical elements, psychological aspects or relationships of the characters, ramatic structure, etc.
OR
§Creative Writing (5 page max).
§You may submit any one kin or combination of creative writing: a short story, a film treatment, a storyboar, a script or play excerpt (incluing a short synopsis of the complete script), etc. Those intereste in submitting poetry, photographs, an/or rawings must submit one other type of creative work. The total of all submitte creative writing combine cannot excee the 5 page maximum.
No preference is given to one type of creative work over another. DO NOT SUBMIT FILMS, DVDS, or CDS.
