专业介绍：
金融经济学理学硕士是哥伦比亚大学商学院提供的为期两年的stem合格硕士学位课程。msfe通过为期两年的密集课程，为学术上杰出且以行业为导向的学生提供了获得严格的，研究生级金融和经济学培训的机会。该计划的目的是为学生提供与潜在雇主（如投资和商业银行，经济和金融资产管理公司，咨询公司以及政策导向的组织）一起成功从事金融事业的定量和理论工具。
候选人应具有与攻读博士学位的学生相同的学术准备，并应做好充分准备以参加博士学位课程并完成大量的研究项目。
课程设置：
金融经济学理学硕士课程要求哥伦比亚商学院四个学期的全日制学习（秋季和春季）。
学生至少完成16个完整的研究生水平课程，包括一个研究研讨会，在该研讨会中，他们将针对以行业为中心的研究问题进行项目。学生还必须完成至少六个星期的暑期实习，其中包括在公司实习或为教职员工从事研究协助工作。理想情况下，实习将与学生的研究研讨会项目紧密相关。
每个学期，学生将参加一套严格的博士学位课程，辅以mba和其他研究生课程。在第二，第三和第四学期的学生中，他们将至少有一个或两个选修博士学位或mba的选修课。msfe学生必须修读10个博士学位或同等博士学位，并且最多只能修读6个mba级课程。

international stuents who o not have a bachelor’s, master’s, or octoral egree from an institution in which all instruction is conucte in english must take either the toefl ﹙test of english as a foreign language﹚, the pte ﹙pearson test of english﹚, or the ielts ﹙international english language testing system﹚. you may be exempte if you have or are currently enrolle in a egree program from an institution in which english is the language of instruction. we will not accept requests for exceptions to this policy.
