普林斯顿大学取消rea
普林斯顿大学官网在宣布暂停2020-21申请季标化要求的同时，还宣布了一则重磅消息：取消2020-2021申请季的早申请批次，只保留了1月1日截止的常规轮申请。学生可以在此日期前通过coalition或者common app提交申请材料，并将于4月1日前收到录取通知。

约翰霍普金斯大学新增eⅱ
eⅱ 这一设定是美国大学为了提高自己yiel rate（新生入学率），进而提高排名的手段。和早申请一样，申请者在eⅱ 批次只能递交一所学校，并且承诺录取了就一定会报道入学。今年，jhu首次增加e ⅱ申请，申请截止日期为2021年1月4日。此前美国大学top10中，只有芝加哥大学有e ii的申请选项，这一改变体现出jhu希望给学生更多时间准备，吸引更多背景条件优秀的申请生。
