滑铁卢大学数学院的本科专业分为三个大类：
数学院本科专业录取
数学院本科专业的录取主要根据：
- 学生的高中学业成绩；
- 录取信息表amission information form*
- 托福或者雅思等语言测试成绩**
注：
* 数学院的录取要求学生必须提交录取信息表aif。
**如果学生的第一语言不是英语、并且过去四年的学校课程非全英文授课，学生需要提交合格的语言测试成绩。4年的全英文课程不包括esl学习的时间。
数学和计算机竞赛
鼓励学生参加数学院的数学与计算教育中心cemc举办的数学和计算机竞赛：
· canaian senior mathematics contest
· eucli contest
· canaian computing contest
* 数学院的录取不要求以上的竞赛；但是优异的竞赛成绩对申请有帮助。数学院入学奖学金的发放要求学生必须参加csmc/eucli数学竞赛。

申请信息表aif
申请数学院的专业包括计算机科学的专业必须提交aif。
数学院每年收到大量的申请，我们需要更多的信息来了解学生的情况。学生如果在学校的学业表现出色，并能够同时兼顾从事其它的活动，这样的经历会有助于学生在大学的学习和生活。
数学院主要看四个部分的信息：
· 课程：有关你的课程情况
· 非学术活动：课外活动包括学生会、体育、音乐、美术、领导力、志愿者活动或者工作经历
· 数学竞赛：鼓励学生参加csmc和欧几里德竞赛；鼓励申请计算机科学专业的学生参加ccc
· 其它信息：其它你想让我们了解的关于你的信息。
· 跟我们分享你参与的各种课内和课外活动
· 展示你在高级别参与的同时管理多项活动和优先级的能力
· 在“ aitional information”的部分突出展示你的课外活动、获得荣誉以及工作经历方面的特别之处
英语语言测试成绩
· 托福：总分90分以上，口语和写作均不低于25
· 雅思：总分6.5以上，口语和写作不低于6.5，听力和阅读不低于6.0
（数学院的录取接受总分不低于7，各单项均不低于6.0的雅思成绩。）
注：
如果你的学业成绩优异并且其它方面表现突出，达到我们的录取要求，但是英语语言测试成绩略低于我们对英语水平测试成绩的要求，数学院提供math/elas语言强化课程。不需要申请，我们根据学生的情况自动考虑有条件录取学生到elas课程。
