出国留学，在休息时间打打工，不仅可以获得一笔学费和生活资金补贴，同时也可以增加社会经验，增长见识，有可能也会让自己的语言能力得到很大的提升。但在新加坡，可不是所有留学生，都能兼职打工的。
根据新加坡人力部的规定，在新加坡留学的国际学生不需要申请工作准证，但是必须满足一定条件并通过申请才可打工：
★ 留学生所在的学校，必须是经过新加坡人力部门特别批准的教育机构，方可合法打工；
★ 不是作为交换生在新加坡学习。
在留学新加坡期间，想要在上学期间兼职的同学，必须满足以下条件：
★ 在一个政府批准的教育机构（见以下学校名单）全日制入学或注册的学生；
★ 学生持有移民局和检查站颁发的学生证；
注意事项：
★ 每周兼职工作时间最多16个小时；或
★ 在你所就读院校或者教育机构的工业合作企业项目（inustrial attachment programme）工作，这个项目可以是必修的也可以是选修的，但是必须对你毕业有帮助

★★ 如果您的学校并不在以上名单中，持有学生签证的您是不允许在在校学习期间（school-term）打工的。
在留学新加坡期间，想要在假期兼职，需要满足以下条件：
★ 在一个政府批准的教育机构（见以下名单）全日制入学或注册的学生；
★ 学生持有移民局和检查站颁发的学生证；
★ 年满14岁及以上。
注意事项：
如果你就读的学校在以上院校名单，而你正在等你的最后一学期成绩，而等待时间恰好在学校假期，也是不需要申请工作签证（work pass），即可打工的。
一旦你完成了你的学业，你的学生签证过期后，则需要申请工作签证（work pass）才可在新加坡工作。

3推送求职信息的各大报刊及论坛
新加坡还是保留着看报纸的习惯，所以各种报纸层出不穷，比如：海峡时报（the straits times），联合早报，新明日报（shin min aily news）,商业时报（the business times）等。一般情况下是每周六会有专栏贴上各类的招聘信息。另外，很多家报社媒体会派发一些工作人员在一些主要的地铁站出入口免费地发放报纸。
4学校的career centre
大家在校一定要运用好career centre这个功能/服务。这里不仅仅可以找到工作，还有一些实习的机会。那些来这里刊登信息的公司，都是真正需要这些岗位的，所以通过这里面拿到面试的几率是非常高的。
