那么对美国本科不要求提交SAT和ACT，但是对咱们中国学生还是一样的要求，所以，要想在好好考标化的基础上，还多关注一下申请芝加哥大学本科到底需要什么？芝加哥本科录取看重学生哪些方面呢？
那接下来，芝芝老师详细分析一下芝加哥大学本科的申请；
1. 申请系统
芝加哥大学本科申请系统即可通过 Coalition Application or Common Application.，申请费为75美金。
2. 申请截止日期
芝加哥大学既有Early Action 早行动，也有Early Desision 1 早决定，都是在11月1号截止，然后就是Early Decision2 和Regular Decision，最终截止在1月2号。建议学生宝宝们早提交，录取几率更大。
3. 申请要求
1）Seconary School Report (相当于班主任评语)
这可以让美国大学初步了解到学生中学阶段的学术表现，这和成绩单不一样，这是在申请时候会有一个表格，表格是需要学校的Counselor（国内的高中相当于班主任）来填写的，班主任填写好扫描直接发给芝加哥大学即可。
2）High School Transcripts（高中成绩单）
需提供9-11三年完整的英文成绩单 ，如果是国内的需要初三至高二的中英文成绩单。
3）Two Teachers Evaluation (两封推荐信)
这俩推荐老师一定是要任课老师，比如，数学老师、社会科学老师、自然科学老师、历史老师、英语老师等等。任课老师在推荐过程中需要提及学生课堂中的表现、讨论以及对这科目的喜爱。
4）Mi-year Report
这个期中的report是一般在2月份时候，等学生12年级上学期成绩单出来之后，再给学校补充的。
5）Test Optional
SAT或者ACT 是可以不用提交的。
6）Optional Vieo
学生可以录制2分钟的视频作为辅助。
7) Supplemental Materials
这些辅助材料可以是艺术作品、有创造力的作品或者研究等等
8）English Proficiency for International stuent
针对国际学生，TOEFL要求至少100（没有小分要求），或者雅思7.0分（小分要求不低于7.0），如果学生在英语为母语的国家读了2年以上的高中，即可免除提供语言。
9）Extracurricular Activities 课外活动
课外活动都要列出来，比如学校的社团club，team团队或者学校正式的比赛、个人兴趣爱好、兼职工作、一些体现家庭责任感的事情等等。学校想通过这些活动不仅仅看到学生是如何分配自己的课余时间的，更重要的是你做了哪些有意义的和有趣的事情。
