Extension of mi-year application ate
To support our future stuents in the face of the evolving global COVID-19 challenge, we have mae changes to the application ate for semester 2 2020. Friay 12 June 2020 is now the application closing ate for most courses with mi-year intake at the University of Melbourne. Complete applications shoul be submitte online by 12 June for stuies commencing in August.
Before submitting applications for particular grauate courses please confirm the closing ate with the relevant faculty or grauate school. Fin out more about unergrauate an grauate application ates.
English language requirements
We have mae some temporary revisions to the English Language Requirements to accommoate challenges cause by the COVID-19 panemic. For courses commencing mi-year 2020 an all intakes in 2021, the following revisions apply:
• Stuents who ha met English Language Requirements for Semester 1 2020 an eferre to the mi-year 2020 intake will automatically meet them for mi-year intakes in 2020
• The valiity of IELTS, TOEFL an Pearson PTE Acaemic tests has been temporarily extene from two to three years
• The TOEFL iBT Special Home Eition version is temporarily being accepte as equivalent to existing accepte TOEFL tests
• Tests not liste above or in our existing English Language Requirements, incluing Duolingo an Versant tests, will not be accepte.
Commencement of Semester 2 fully online for all stuents if necessary
For now, we’ve shifte to a virtual campus to help stuents access classes, support an wellbeing services, no matter where they are in the worl. Stuents who commence with us in Semester 2, 2020 online will have the opportunity to complete the full semester online. Full online teaching an assessment arrangements for all of Semester 2, 2020 will be available where necessary. Stuents will start something new online an join us on campus soon.
