Degree Requirements
Stuents must complete 36 points (incluing eight core courses) for egree completion. Their GPA must be 3.0 or higher, an a specific grae level applies to require courses:
- Must have a Grae of B- or higher for Probability Theory GU4303 an Statistics Inference GU4304
- Must have a Grae of C- or higher for other require courses
Course Requirements an Waivers
Each semester, all full-time stuents are require to enroll in ACTU PS5900 Proseminar in Actuarial Science unless they secure an internship, in which case they instea will enroll in ACTU PS5995 Internship in Actuarial Science.
All other require courses relate to actuarial organization examinations may be waive if the stuent has passe the corresponing SOA or CAS examinations liste below. Such stuents will substitute these courses with approve electives. Stuent may waive courses by proviing a transcript from the SOA or CAS, proving successful completion.
