The MS in Event Management consists of 36 creits. Full-time stuents can complete the program in three semesters.
Pre-Semester
Pre-semester online course, zero creits. Stuents nee to complete all coursework by week seven of the semester. This component can be waive if the stuent has a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience in the event sector or the equivalent in part-time work. This component can also be waive if the stuent has complete a minimum of two event management courses in a egree program in the last 3 years (Upon review of transcript by the acaemic irector).

Internship
Stuents are require to complete the internship course. Stuents with at least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work, may qualify for a waiver. Waiving the internship requirements allows stuents to take an aitional 1.5 creits in electives.

Stuents can select classes across the three ifferent tracks below. Stuents can also take up to 6 creits in the MS in Tourism Management, MS in Hospitality Inustry Stuies, or relate programs in consultation with their avisor.
