西湖男子中学非常感谢学校的学校社区，教职员工，父母，尤其是寄宿家庭，他们在14天的隔离期内为学生提供了支持，并继续为他们提供支持。
目前，学校有11名学生仍在中国，并且由于旅行限制而无法返回。
学校制定了支持这些学生的策略。学校与他们及其父母保持定期联系。学校的老师确保他们有功课要做，这在学校的在线门户网站上提供。他们返回学校后，学校将为他们提供课后辅导和学校假期计划。本学年开学推迟的学生也将包括在本课程中。

Joe Cachopa 先生

Dear Value Partners
We have a challenging start to the school year with the outbreak of Coronavirus which has impacte on us all, particularly our stuents an their families in China.
Westlake Boys High School is very grateful to our school community, staff, parents an in particular our host families who have supporte our stuents uring the 14-ay quarantine perio an continue to support them.
We currently have 11 stuents who are still in China an cannot return because of the travel restrictions in place.
The school has strategies in place to support these stuents. We are in regular contact with them an their parents. Our teachers are ensuring they have schoolwork to o, which is provie on our online portal. When they return to school, we will offer after school tutorials an school holiay programmes for them. Our stuents who ha a elaye start to the year will also be inclue in this programme.
We hope that over the next few months, the uncertainty will be over, an life can return to normal.
However, 2020 has brought some staff changes in the epartment, with the following new staff:
Mr Joe Cachopa
We are please to welcome Joe, one of the Deputy Principals, to the epartment. He replaces Tina Kwok who retire at the en of 2019.
Mr Rain Kim
Rain is a Science teacher at our school, who will be our International Acaemic Avisor. He has alreay starte to mentor our stuents, particularly with subject course selections.
Ms Ting Chou
Ting replaces Jasmine Tang as an International Avisor. She comes to us with extensive experience having previously worke in the International epartment at an Aucklan High School.
