所以留学申请规划要趁早，这也是能留足时间为后续的文书写作素材的必备条件，不然在中国的应试教育中，尤其是高中，学生很少参加社团、社会时间活动等等；
接下来我们看看美国学校常见的两大网申系统文书：加州大学系统（UC）和 Common系统；
Common essay

浏览以上的文书题目不难发现 ， 大多数的文书都是要你 讲故事 。那把一个故事讲得有 意思、好玩、吸引人、并且希望达到的效果是对方会说感叹 “ 天呐还有这种操作 ” 、会追 问 “ 快讲快讲 ， 那然后怎么怎么样了 ？ ”， 而不是耐着性子听我们说完去看下一个。我们 建议 ：
1. 选素材时 ， 考虑两点 ： 我是不是唯一一个能讲出这个故事的人 ？ 这个故事对我的申 请 （ 即得到审理官认可 ） 是否重要 ？ 反面案例 就是 “ 考试失败 ” 的故事 —— 所有的申请人 都有类似的经历 ， 它无法使你脱颖而出。
2. 在一篇文书中 ， 突出自己 某一个 特点 ， 然后举例讲故事来证明 ， 而不是迫切地想证 明自己全能。 反面案例 如下 ：
短短两百字里讲了 8 件事情 ， 急于证明自己 “ 全能 ”， 反而导致每件都说得不清楚 ， 这样申请人的 “ 特点 ” 也就变得平淡无奇了。倒不如通篇就讲 “ 我拆篮球鞋 ” 这一个故 事 ， 反而更体现出申请人的专注力和好奇心。

4. 尽量提供更多的 细节 ， 哪怕是有艺术夸张和杜撰成分 。反面案例 ： “ 在我的领导 下 ， 我的社团的每个同学都参与了进来 ， 共同完成了这次精彩的配音比赛 。 ” 这个是原版 素材的最后一句话 ， 收尾整篇文章。单单凭 “ 精彩的配音比赛 ”， 读者是完全无法案受到 这个比赛的精彩程度。针对这句话 ， 我做了以下加工 ：

此外其他讨人喜欢的点 ：
1) 不能死板 ， 要 creative 。每个人一定要有自己的个性 ， 不是被父母所影响的 ， 每个人都 是独立的个体 ， 所以你讲的故事不可以是其他人能讲得出的 （ iverse ） 。
2) 有礼貌、 （ 虽然有个性但仍 ） 谦和的学生很讨人喜欢。假如国内有什么现象你看不惯 ， 也要尽量做到 polite articulation 。切忌通过贬低一方来吹捧另一方。
3) 如果是讲 challenge 或者 failure ， 不要太消极 ， 过度抱怨、吐槽 ， 要展现自己的乐观 和逆商。
4) 有爱心、有包容心 （ inclusive ） 也挺招待见的。
本科推荐信要点 ：
建议推荐人在推荐信中 ， 按顺序回答以下内容 ：
1. 您的身份 ？ 和该学生的关系 （ 或者 in what capacity o you know this stuent ） ? 您
