最近，正好在整理美国TOP30的夏校信息，今天给大家分享下热门夏校--Cornell University 康奈尔大学的summer college programs。康奈尔大学在8所常春藤里，相对录取率是最高的。也深受大家的喜爱。所以每年夏天，Cornell的夏校项目总会遭遇疯抢。

关于就读康奈尔大学夏校的费用，比较清晰的是这个网站。里面有包括详细的每个session的价格，以及这些价格里所包含的内容。还有学生的保险费用：

至于申请材料，国际生需要注意的是：
- TOEFL成绩，如果你在美高，或者高中是用全英语教学的话，那可以不提交；其余必须提交。TOEFL要求是100以上。如果100没有到，成绩在97-99左右，那只能申请以下三门课：Strategies for College Success、Research an Information Literacy、Acaemic Writing
- 申请I20。这段时间申请I20需要注意，目前由于疫情的缘故，现在美领馆批签还不明朗，之后我也会针对这起事件专门写文章，让大家理性分析。
- High School Transcripts的扫描件，申请时可以直接上传
- 老师的推荐信：注意，这是最不同的地方：因为不用老师亲自提交了。只需要老师们把推荐信扫描版转成PDF给你，然后在你自己的账号里上传就行。
学校的文书要求Your answers to each of the three items shoul be in English an shoul not excee 250 wors.

· Describe why one of these interests or activities is important to you, your reasons for becoming involve in it, an your relate accomplishments.

· What istinguishes you from your classmates an peers?
· What o you expect to gain from Summer College?
· What o you hope to accomplish uring the program?
3. Tell us about your interest in the Summer College programs (both your first an secon choices) you selecte in your application.
· Why i you select these programs?
· What o you expect to gain from them?
· What personal, work, or volunteer experience have you ha relate to these programs?
· If you are applying to the Research Apprenticeship in Biological Sciences (RABS) program, also tell us about a biological research project that you have initiate or participate in.
最后，也是最重要的一点，康奈尔有些 summer course只针对11或12年开放，如果你是9或10年级的话，就没办法申请了。这段时间，宗老师就在给一个10年级在读的美高学生整理，他准备申请Architecture的summer课程，但该summer course9或10年级的学生是不能申请的(官网有说明，也邮件确认过)。还好，宗老师仔细看了学校官网，发现有个 Create Your Own Summer College Program，里面显示的有Architecture课程，这个10年级在读的学生是可以申请的，可以理解为量身定制的summer course：https://sce.cornell.eu/precollege/program/mycusc。所以申请summer school一定要注意课程是否合适，如不合适要邮件确认，并且仔细阅读官网信息，你会发现惊喜的。由此可见，康奈尔夏校如此受欢迎，跟他的灵活性关系很大。
