It has beenconfirme the virus can be transmitte from person to person.

What is cornavirus?
Coronaviruscan affect humans an animals. Somecoronaviruses cause illnesses like the common col an others cause moreserious illnesses, incluing severe Acute Respiratory Synrome (SARS) anMile East Respiratory Synrome (MERS).
What are the symptoms of 2019-nCoV?
Symptoms ofthis virus are similar to a range of other illnesses such as influenza an onot necessarily mean that you have 2019-nCoV. As it is influenza season in thenorthern hemisphere, we expect to see increase numbers of travellers withinfluenza-like illnesses other than cornoavirus

The Worl Health Organisation (WHO) anMinistry of Health (MOH) recommens avoiing all non-essential travel to theHubei Province.
If you are travelling to other parts of Chinaplease check with your Line Manager, travel agent an insurer. Ministry ofForiegn Affairs an Trae ( MFAT )is avising people to avoinon-essential travel to china.
Masks.
Masks mayhave a part to play in reucing the riskof viral sprea. There is limite evience to suggest masks reuce the risk ofspreaing respiratory viruses.
Evienceshows best practice is the use of hanan cough hygeine, as mentione above.
However,if you have repiratory symptoms you may choose to take the precaution of usinga mask, to prevent sprea to others. When wearing a mask follow these guielines.
- Wear the mask consistently, at least whenever there is any risk of infection. People often fin them uncomfortable an take them on an off, renering them ineffective. Wash your hans after removing the mask.
- Put the mask on correctly, with a goo fit covering your nose an mouth. A loose fit between the mask an face will not provie protection from germs or contaminants.
- Do not let the mask give you a false sense of security. Wearing a mask oes not mean you shoul avoi trie an true hygiene practices. Wash your hans regularly, keep away from people who are coughing an sneezing, cover your coughs an sneezes (an wash your hans afterwars), an on’t touch your mouth, nose or eyes after touching a potentially contaminate object.
