入学资格Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens or permanent resients of the People’s Republic of China at the time of application an inten to return to China upon completion of their stuies at the University of Exeter.
The scholarship will be aware on the basis of acaemic merit with caniates requiring the equivalent of a Distinction in a UK Masters egree from a prestigious university (Typically an average of 85% or above from a Chinese Higher Eucation Institution).
Successful caniates will meet the relevant acaemic requirements as well as the English language proficiency requirements for entry into a PhD programme set out by the University of Exeter. Applicants are generally expecte to have a score of IELTS 6.5 – 7.0 or equivalent overall with no less than 6.0 in any section. Full tuition fees of successful applicants will be fune by the relevant College at the University of Exeter. The China Scholarship Council will provie a living allowance, incluing the cost of a return flight from China to the UK, accommoation an subsistence, epening on the applicant’s eligibility.

Stage 1
Apply to the University of Exeter
In the application process you will be aske to uploa several ocuments. Please note our preferre format is PDF, each file name with your surname an the name of the ocument, eg. “Smith – CV.pf”, “Smith – Cover Letter.pf”, “Smith – Transcript.pf”.

• Letter of application outlining your acaemic interests an prior research experience.
• Transcript(s) giving full etails of subjects stuie an graes/marks obtaine. This shoul be an interim transcript
if you are still stuying.
• Evience of your English language proficiency.
You will be aske to name 2 referees as part of the application process, however we will not contact these people until the offer stage. Your referees shoul not be from the prospective supervisory team.
CSC will be notifie of the fee waiver with a copy of the offer letter.
