5.ENERGY CONVERSION CONCENTRATION
Stuents with MS egrees in engineering or science isciplines can be accepte in these programs. Stuents must satisfy all other epartmental egree requirements. Amission requirements follow the general amission rules for aerospace an mechanical engineering grauate programs. For amission requirements, refer to Viterbi Grauate Degrees an Requirements at USC Viterbi School of Engineering . The program requires completion of a minimum of 27 units, with at least 18 units at the 500 level, an a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 for grauation. Stuents will be given avisement in the first semester of their stuy. A minimum of 15 units must be 500 level courses in major epartment. Four of the require units must be in engineering analysis AME 525. In aition to AME 525 stuents are require to take five core courses covering energy an propulsion, sustainable energy, alternative energy conversion evices, construction management, an sustainable infrastructure systems. Elective courses can be chosen in areas of specific interest to the stuent. Specifically, stuents are encourage to consier electives from other Sustainable Infrastructure Systems programs.
