同学都知道，港校的大部分专业都在每年9-10月开放申请。 尤其对于以竞争激烈的港中科为Dream school的同学而言，更是需要尽早递交网申。
由于同学都是同时申请多个专业， 而每个专业的审核时间又不尽相同，由此产生的时间差就会对大家在申请阶段的行动策略产生不小的影响。
因此，提前了解目标专业的申请动态是十分必要的。
我们以港中科去年的录取数据为例， 看看递交网申后多久可以收到通知，进行下一步的安排。
由于数据量庞大，仅以申请人数较多的 工科类 和 商科类 专业为例，供大家参考。
工科类专业
香港科技大学和香港中文大学均在9月初开放申请，而香港大学则在10月中旬开放。
虽然开放时间较晚，但根据去年的录取数据，港大的Mechanical Engineering在10月下旬就发放了第一批offer，可以说效率非常高了。
相比之下，申请科大和中大部分专业的同学则需要经历漫长的等待，直到次年年初才会陆续收到通知。
工科类专业通常不需要面试，但也有例外。
在港中科的工科类专业里，港大的Computer Science和Electronic Commerce an Internet Computing是需要面试的，通常在开放申请后一个月发出面试邀请。
