As you will remember, for Semester 2 this year we pause making offers for the commerce an professional accounting programs ue to high eman. We unerstan that a number of your bright stuents may have misse the opportunity to commence stuy with us, so we are making changes to the way we manage some applications for Semester 1, 2020 for Master of Commerce an Master of Professional Accounting – we trust our transparency with these changes will assist you with helping your stuents be successful with their amission to the University of Syney.
On Monay, September 16, we will reissue all unconitional offers to the Master of Commerce an to the Master of Professional Accounting for Semester 1, 2020, noting that offers will be vali only for 30 ays. From that ate onwars, any unconitional offer that we issue for these two courses will lapse after 30 ays. It is important for your stuents to be aware about the limite time in which these offers must be accepte. Acceptance of offer – incluing making the necessary initial payment – must be complete before the lapse ate inicate on the offer. Please note that an offer will not be reissue after it has lapse, an a stuent may not apply for amission to a course an intake for which an offer has alreay lapse.
The entry requirements for these two courses remain unchange, but our Amissions team will prioritise making offers to high achieving stuents. As a result, there may be slight elays to some applicants receiving their offers to these 2 courses. We ask you manage your stuents’ expectation for these programs.
Kinly be remine that we will no longer be making new offers nor taking new applications to the Grauate Diploma in Commerce an Professional Accounting. Unconitional or package offers to the GraDip will be honoure for Semester 1 2020. Outstaning unconitional offers to the GraDip will be reissue on September 16 with a lapse ate of 30 ays. No other new offers to the GraDip programs will be mae.
