English Language Requirements
In line with our commitment to excellence an following a careful review, the University of Syney publishe a new Amissions Stanars for English Language Proficiency ocument. Please rea the ocument for your information.
We are presently in a transition perio where the policy which provies the best avantage to your stuents is being applie. We will cease using the ol requirements for applications receive from Monay, 01 April 2019.
Deferral requests will not be affecte: if an applicant has met the English language requirement when an offer is mae, that offer may be eferre to an intake up to one year later, without prejuice to the English language requirement.
Joint Programs
We encourage you to uploa a copy of the enrolment certificate which confirms the joint program an the egree uration in each University. If English language requirements are satisfie base on one-year stuies, please provie a letter from the university’s registrar (or registrar’s office) confirming that the language of the institution an of instruction, examination an assessment is English.
Passport Require
We appreciate your ongoing vigilance in aressing frauulent ocuments. We encourage you to provie the stuent’s passport at the time you first loge their application if it is available.
Effective immeiately, a copy of the photo page of a vali passport is require for an Unconitional Offer to be issue. Early access to the stuent’s passport contributes to your efforts in ensuring that stuent ocuments you submit are legitimate.
Kinly note that all current conitional offer holers will be require to provie a copy of a vali passport photo page at the time they provie their final ocuments.
Onshore Special Amissions Process
The Onshore Special Amissions Process (OSAP) is for stuents completing a bachelor’s egree onshore in Australia in June 2019 an applying to commence postgrauate stuies in Semester 2, 2019. The ealine to loge an application an request to participate in OSAP is Friay, 15 July 2019.

The Offshore Special Amissions Process (SAP) is for stuents completing a bachelor’s egree in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Inia, Banglaesh an the UAE in June 2019. The ealine to loge an application an request to participate in SAP is Friay, 07 June 2019.
