PROGRAM PREREQUISITES
MS Program Calculus through vector calculus (Math 241) 微积分 Linear Algebra (MATH 415) 线性代数 Calculus-base Statistics an Probability I (Stat 400, or Stat 408 an 409) 统计和概率 MS:STAT-Analytics Concentration Experience with business an statistical computing software such as SAS or SPSS. 统计软件应用 Experience with an interactive programming environment such as C++, R, or Matlab.
If the applicant oes not meet the unergrauate course work requirements, he or she may complete courses to remove the eficiencies (e.g., Statistics 410 or Mathematics 444 for PhD stuents) after entering the grauate program. Prerequisite course creits o not count towar the Department of Statistics' creit hour requirements for grauation.
