Common Application 提前公布了2019-2020年美国大学本科申请Essay题目。2019-2020年的文书题目没有变化，还是七选一，选择最能体现你性格特点的题目来写，字数不超过650字。具体题目如下：

2.雅思官方发布2018中国大陆地区雅思考生学术表现白皮书
2019年1月23日，英国文化教育协会（British Council）发布《2018中国大陆地区雅思考生学术表现白皮书》，对中国大陆学术类雅思考生的总体评价是 “在听说读写四项能力中，学术类雅思考生阅读能力持续表现突出，其次是听力和写作能力，口语能力相对较弱”。据统计，中国考生的英语各项能力，在过去5年间均有小幅提升。总分平均分由5.56分增至5.72分，听力和写作两项，更是跨梯队提升，听力由5.5分梯队杀入6.0分梯队，写作从5.0分梯队跃升到5.5分梯队。中国考生强项 —— 阅读，则增至6.15分。在中国大陆地区雅思考生区域学术表现分析中，上海再次蝉联全国首位，而江苏的学霸们再次牢牢霸住第二名，其次是湖北、浙江、四川、北京和重庆。尽管分数有所提升，但整体来看，中国大陆雅思考生学术表现与全球水平仍存在差距。
3.美国财务数据网站公布美国TOP50工作排名
近日，美国财务数据网站 Howmuch.net 根据 U.S. News & Worl Report 的 Best Jobs Ranking（最佳工作排名）对美国50个最好的工作进行了排名。该排名中所涉及的职业，均来自美国劳工统计局 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) 确定的2016年至2026年预计空缺数量最多的职业数据。网站根据以下工资中位数、就业率、10年的增长量（2016-2026）、10年的增长比重、未来就业前景、工作压力、工作与生活的平衡这7个因素，按照加权平均分的方式，给不同职业打分。
图中，蓝色部分是工资中位数，橙色部分是未来几年的就业预期。通过两组数据的对比，或许给以给正在找工作和尚未选择大学专业的学生做一个参考。
