路透社最近放出了一份“2018年创新大学百强榜，再次验证：美国的高等教育是一个创新的大本营。

路透社表示：根据各大学开展先进科研、发明新技术、以及助力新行业能力等多种客观数据来编制排名，尽可能让“创新”这个词变得不那么含糊。让我们详细了解下，榜单的精华部分吧：

虽然英国和亚洲的大学排名有所上升，但美国大学仍在榜单中占据主导地位，有46所大学入选全球前100。

斯坦福大学连续第四年名列“全球最具创新力大学”榜首，20011年-2016年申请专利691项，被批准率高达41.5%。源源不断的专利发明及科学研究，为榜首地位起到了关键作用。最近几年，斯坦福在人工智能领域取得重大进展：利用新一代摄像系统引导自动驾驶汽车、能够在人体试验之前预测药物反应的模拟器等等。

“三甲”未曾变：麻省理工学院位列第二，哈佛大学第三。华盛顿大学连升两位，排名第五；德州大学位列第六。

比利时鲁汶大学名列第七，是“非美”排名最高的大学。英国排名最高的是伦敦帝国理工学院，第八名；此外路透社特意指出，曼切斯特大学是本年度排名上升幅度最大的，从去年的第80名跃升至第53名，很大程度上归功于超金属石墨烯的研究；曼彻斯特大学过去五年间申请的专利中，有四分之一都与石墨烯有关。

在亚洲，中国的大学得益于政府对创新大力推动、以及对专利申请的重视，有5所（清北复交浙）高校上榜。尽管我们国内高等教育快速发展，但依然有很多需要向美国学习，美国在科技创新方面仍然处于领跑地位。
