Faculty work closely with students to explore their unique interests, develop problem-solving skills, and boost their confidence. Examples of college-level electives include Axiomatic Set Theory, Shakespeare & the Fairy Tale, Programming Languages, and Advanced Topics in Neuroscience.

Students come to Commonwealth in search of peers as kind, inquisitive, passionate, and principled as they are—and they find them in a close-knit community of 156 students from 40+ communities around Boston. Together, they push themselves academically, pursue new interests, and grow into thoughtful young adults who excel in college, career, and life.
