Running
- Do you like running?
I am not really very keen on running to be honest. I'm not into sports at all. I guess I like walking… I really enjoy walking actually, although it's not really a sport as such. But running I just find tiring and boring. Especially running in a gym.
- Where do you run?
Well, like I said, I don't run. Ever. But my friends go running quite often. In fact they are really into fitness and sports, so they go running several times a week when the air quality is good. They go running in the local park, I think, or on campus. Our campus is really big so you often see students running there.
- Which places do you think are perfect for running?
Large university campuses in China are ideal for running. Some parks are good for running, and of course there are leisure centers and sports areas in the city that are ideal for running. Some people do cross country running, and outside of Beijing there are lots of cool places in the hills where people can do that.
- Do you think running is a good way to stay healthy?
Yes, most certainly. It's a great form of exercise and it keeps people healthy in terms of muscle-strength and cardio-vascular exercise. It's a shame I really don't like running, because I'm very aware that it has lots of health benefits.
