SevenoaksSchool is again celebrating outstanding examination results for Year 11.Over87% of all examinations were graded A or A* equivalent；116students gained nine or more A*/A grades equivalent；
IB Results 2020
有8个学生拿到了IB满分45分，22个44分，18个4分，50%以上的学生拿到了40分以上的IB高分成绩；
Universityoffers 2020: UK
From UK universities, 1036 offers have been made by 64 institutions to over 200students. This is a significant increase in the total number of offers madecompared with last year.
We received 76 offers from UCL, 72 from Durham and 79 from Exeter, the threeuniversities with the highest number of Sevenoaks applications. Warwickwas also popular choice for Sevenoaks students this year, and we received 50offers, while a growing number of students are drawn to the excellent Year in Industryschemes offered by Bath (34 offers) and Loughborough (23 offers).
High numbers of offers came from Imperial College London (29), Edinburgh (45) and StAndrews (30).
In a highly competitive year for places at Oxford University, 17Sevenoaks students received an offer from Oxford and 14 received offers fromCambridge.
Universityoffers 2020: international
In the 2019-20 academic year, 47 students made applications to 68 different UScolleges, making a total of 279 applications.
They received 101 offers, including 22 offers to the top ten US universities and 46to the top 20 US universities (using THE data). We were delighted with these results, which includeoffers from Stanford (3), Harvard (1), Yale (2), UC Berkeley (7), Johns Hopkins(2), Chicago (5) and UPenn (3).
These are complemented with 11 offers from Canadian universities including 9 to thetop 3 universities in Canada: the University of Toronto (4), the University of British Columbia (1), and McGill (4) and 2 offers from Hong Kong:Chinese University Hong Kong (1) and from Hong Kong University (1).
Many were also placed on the waiting lists for the most prestigious US universities,so even more of our students may be attending top universities.
We are delighted that our students have been able to secure such coveted places.Further more,students have been offered places within Europe at the University of Bocconi inItaly, Erasmus, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and ThePolytechnic University of Milan.
