英国UKVI的规定上要求必须指派监护人？
All visa holding international students are required to have a Guardian whilst studying at schools in order to comply with UKVI regulations, and according to the boarding school’s regulations, we also expect all students who have parents overseas, including UK students, to have a nominated guardian. This applies until they leave school, even after they turn 18.
根据UKVI 的规定，所有持有签证的国际学生在私校学习期间，都必须安排一位监护人。同时，根据学校的规定，我们也要求所有家长常驻海外的学生，包括英国学生，都需有一名指定监护人。该规定一直适用直到学生完成在中学的学习，即便学生年满18 岁。

监护人的角色是什么？
Guardianship provides another means of support for an international student whilst they are in the UK, and allows them to have another adult outside of the School who they can turn to for assistance or advice, and who is the person with shared delegated parental responsibility. The role of guardian complements the requirement of the Housemistresses to act in ‘loco parentis’. This will include giving permission for pupils to partake in school activities that may involve some element of risk, or which may involve a financial obligation. Therefore we feel that due to the nature of the responsibilities to be undertaken the guardian should be over 25 years of age.

The Purpose of a Guardianship Policy

● To provide the parents of international students (and the Guardians they appoint) with a clear explanation of the school’s expectations relating to educational guardianship.向国际学生的家长（及其指定的监护人）明确解释学校对教育监护的期望。

●To make known to the parents of international students that the school reserves the right to determine the acceptability of arrangements made for their son or daughter when they are residing out of School; should the arrangements prove unacceptable, parents and guardians will be advised and given reasonable opportunity to change the arrangements向国际学生的家长告知，学校保留决定他们的儿子或女儿在校外居住时的安排是否可接受的权利；如果安排被证明不可接受，学校将通知父母和监护人，并给予合理机会调整安排。

监护人需要非常明确的了解英国私校的处事原则，管理学生的原则和逻辑基础（比如有的家长认识在英国的非教育或监护行业人士，来当监护人，很多事情并不了解私校的管理要求和管理规则，举个栗子：转学需要提前一个term发notice通知学校，不然会面临一个学期费用罚金的惩罚（对学校“合同“”规则“的不了解，会让家长损失巨大）；

Guardianship Requirements
监护要求
●The appointed person must be over 25 years of age and should not be a full-time student.指定的监护人需年满25 岁，并且为非全日制学生。
●The designated Guardian should have a permanent or semi- permanent place of residence in the UK and ideally should reside within two hours travelling distance from the School, by either car or public transport.指定监护人应在英国有一个永久或半永久的居住地，最好在距离学校两小时车程内，驾车或公共交通工具皆可。
●They should be English speaking and able to provide a point of contact for the School at all times.监护人应会说英语，并且能够随时与学校保持联络。
●To liaise with the School over Half-Term and Exeat Weekend arrangements, including informing the School about details of travel arrangements made for students leaving on all authorized breaks and at the beginning and end of term. This information must be provided in writing, at least two weeks prior to departure or arrival. The guardian should be prepared to provide accommodation and boarding to the pupil in the event of a delayed flight, or a flight that does not coincide with the school term dates.在期中假期和周末离校许可假期与学校联络，包括通知学校在所有假期时间以及学期开始和结束时为离开学校的学生所做的旅行安排的细节。该信息必须在出发或抵达前至少两周以书面形式告知。如果航班延误或航班与学期日期不符，监护人应为学生提供食宿安排。

监护人的身份应该是英国长期的PR身份或英国护照，年满25周岁以上（学生签证不允许成为监护人）；
无犯罪记录证明DBS CHECK;
有固定并且距离学校相对方便的住宿，一旦有紧急状况，监护人可以第一时间（1-2个小时之内赶到学校处理）；所谓的紧急状况，包括但不限于：比如急病，比如违反记录需要停课停学监护人接走等等；
英语水平是Native speaker（可以和英国私校无障碍沟通）
