专业整体分析
人力资源这个专业大致分为两个方向:
人力资源管理(HumanResource Management)和国际人力资源管理(International Human ResourceManagement)。
人力资源管理专业培养具备管理、经济、法律及人力资源管理等方面的知识和能力,能在事业单位及政府部门从事人力资源管理以及教学、科研方面工作的工商管理学科专门人才。
相较而言,人力资源管理专业的实际操作性较强,课程能够让同学接触到人力资源领域涉及的方方面面问题:而国际人力资源管理专业则注重宏观战略和全球人力资源问题。
课程设置
英国大学的人力资源管理专业主要分三个方向:
Human ResourceManagement(HRM)
Human Resource Development(HRD)
Human ResourceOrganisation(HRO)
所涉及到的课程内容主要有:人力资源规划、招聘与配置、培训与开发、绩效管理、薪酬管理、劳动关系管理六个方面。
就业前景

首先,我们要知道一个认证—CIPD (TheChartered Institute of Personnel and Development,英国人力资源协会),是从事人力管理和发展职业专业人士的组织。
英国部分大学的HR专业拥有CIPD认证,在英国受到 CIPD认证的HR课程含金量是非常高的。这个认证对于回国进入外企工作或者留英就业都非常有优势。当同学顺利完硕士课程以及CIPD的所有内容,可以自动成为CIPD的成员,获取申请认证的资格。
