Early May 2023: applicants are notified of their individual entrance exam dates held in the summer. Scanned copies of the invitation letters (and entry visa request letters, if necessary) are sent via email and hard copies are sent in the post to the applicants’ permanent address. (Contact the International Sub-Department if you have not received a notification about the entrance examination schedule by 30 May.)

Mid-July2023: final decisions about the new admissions (state-subsidized, tuition-fee paying,Stipendium Hungaricum) are made following the entrance examinations. Applicants are notified of the decisions. Scanned copies of the letterof admission (and D5 visa request letters, if necessary) are sent via email and hard copies are sent in the post to the applicants’ permanent address.
1 August 2023: final submission deadline of missing documents for students who apply through the Stipendium Hungaricum application system
August 2023: in case of a successful admission, Stipendium Hungaricum applicants receive their letter of award from the Tempus Public Foundation
Late August 2023: orientation day for new students
Early September 2023: the new academic year starts
