学生的劣势显而易见的话，成绩太低，而且他本科的院校的话不是很出色。如果直接申请博士的话是很有困难的。但是优势的话是科研经历比较多，这也是为什么一定要早一些规划？其实这个学生他一开始就知道药学这个专业实践的重要。所以学生从大一的时候就开始加入实验室，做科研。然后在文书在我们申请的过程当中，其实文书上花了很多很多的功夫。因为主要是写他在实验室参与的一系列的科研活动，这个的话就丰富了他的一个文书素材。
美国药学院下一般会有不同的专业：
1 ：Pharm D职业药剂师
2： Meicinal Chemistry药物化学
3 ：Pharmaceutics药剂学
4 ：Pharmacology药理学
5： Pharmaceutical Analysis药物分析
6 ：Pharmacognosy生药学
7 ：Pharmaceutical Sciences药学
每个学科还会包含一些细分的方向。几个主要的专业方向难度排序大致是：Pharm D>药剂学>药理学>药物化学>制药学。
