唐加拉教授目前是曼彻斯特大学的 图灵研究员（Turing Fellow） ，与曼彻斯特同事的合作包括批量计算、混合精度算术算法和 PLASMA 软件方面的工作。曼彻斯特大学拥有 33 名图灵研究员 ，遍布所有三个大学学院，涵盖各种学科。
图灵奖介绍
图灵奖 （ACM A.M. Turing Awar），是计算机协会（ Association for Computing Machinery，简称ACM）于1966年设立的 用以奖励对计算机事业作出重要贡献的个人 的奖项，有“计算机界诺贝尔奖”之称。这个奖设立目的之一是纪念现代计算机科学的奠基者、英国科学家、曼彻斯特大学教授艾伦·图灵（A.M. Turing）。
