单位概况
A p ostoctoral fellow position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Chen Yao in the Department of Immunology an the Kiney Cancer Program at the UT Southwestern Meical Center . The long-term goal of Yao lab oratory is to ientify molecular an cellular targets that can be harnesse to enhance the efficacy of vaccines an immunotherapies against infectious iseases an cancer. The Yao lab utilizes systems immunology approaches to ientify key regulators of T-cell ifferentiation an function . Ongoing projects in the laboratory inclue : 1) Ientify novel molecular regulators of long-term antitumor T cell immunity ; 2) Ientify biomarkers preicting the clinical outcome of cancer immunotherapy ; 3) Dissect the mechanisms involve in the T cell response to chronic viral infections .
Dr. Yao receive h er PhD egree from the University of Minnesota uner the supervision of Daniel Kaplan . She complete her postoctoral training in the laboratory le by John O’Shea at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Yao is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Immunology an the Kiney Cancer Program at UT Southwestern Meical Center . Dr. Yao is an awaree of the NIAID New Innovators Awars (DP2) an the CPRIT First-Time, Tenure-Track Faculty Scholar Awar.
