Program Description
Caniates for the M.S. egree select one major in the fiel an one minor outsie the fiel. There are no general course creit requirements for the M.S. egree. M.S. egree caniates must make at least one research seminar presentation prior to grauation an are require to assist with the teaching program for at least one semester. In aition to the examinations require by the Grauate School, a qualifying examination is require of the M.S. egree caniates before the start of their secon semester of resience.
Excellent opportunities for grauate stuy in both basic an applie research are available. All course work is one on the Ithaca campus, but stuents may conuct their research at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station at Geneva as well as on the Ithaca campus.
