背景分析 学生优势：学生本科和研究生都是学的经济学，本科是美国双城大学，研究生是英国LSE，整体学术背景不错
研究和实践经历比较丰富，还有几段实习经历。
学生劣势：GRE成绩和GPA都不是特别突出
文书思路 开篇用几个问题来开头，比如目前你觉得有哪些具体的经济学领域的问题比较吸引你想要继续学习和研究。这样既能直观体现自己要研究的方向，也能体现自己对经济学的个人理解。然后总结在拿到了经济学的本科和硕士学位之后，我对经济学的认知有了更深的发展，想要继续探索。
学习部分，因为课程信息成绩单上都可以体现，所以文书中没有罗列过多课程，而是针对性的选取几个觉得最能体现为什么选择这方向的课程介绍了一下，突出学生的数理背景和一些编程能力。研究部分选取了和自己以后想要学习的方向相关的研究。介绍了期间遇到的困难，怎么解决的，来体现独立研究/团队合作能力，自学能力，和对特定专业知识和技能的运用能力。
最后就是职业目标和选校原因的部分。从长短期以及具体的行业，职位来阐述职业目标，让内容更具体。选校原因部分也是结合自己的兴趣和项目的特色和教授来阐述。
申请总结 整体来讲，学生的配合度很高，所以文书就沟通过一次思路，学生补充完对应的素材写了初稿。然后学生基本没有修改，并且学生单独整理为什么申请每个学校的项目，我这边一次性给学生做了调整，定稿之后分两批递交了全部学校。
过程中比较曲折的是石溪这所大学。考虑到学生的美本背景，我们认为可以免除托福，正常递交申请。但是在后期跟催过程中学校说博士项目需要提供语言成绩。但是学生也没有有效的成绩，起初家长和学生比较不安。后来经过跟学校解释和沟通几次之后，最终给免除了语言成绩。
但是这个所学校要求申请时提供official的成绩单，国内大学和双城的都按要求提供了，但是因为英国疫情原因，LSE那边没办法邮寄，学生申请电子版也遇到了问题，发送不成功。后来经过多次和学校沟通，学校说可以先电子版审理。石溪是最后一个出结果的，在等待的过程中我们也没有放弃，积极更新近况争取，最终拿到了offer。
